For more than a decade, John Kirlin, often joined by his band The High Plains Drifters, has been performing a unique blend of Americanna, Country, Rock, and Bluegrass across the Rocky Mountain region. Whether playing to a festival crowd or in a more intimate setting, his passion for storytelling and love of music is showcased by a high-energy experience that is truly infectious!
In August 2023, John Kirlin and the High Plains Drifters had the unique opportunity to perform with the Wyoming Symphony Orchestra led by renowned conductor, Christopher Dragon. Fifteen John Kirlin original songs were orchestrated and arranged in collaboration with Cameron Smith and Tom Hagerman to create a truly unique musical experience! Here is a sample of one of the works created for this performance.
